Born and raised in Minnesota, I lived and worked as a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Virgin Islands before settling in Texas where I met my husband and raised three incredible daughters. During my career I have delivered babies, helped patients die with dignity, treated SCUBA divers in a recompression chamber, and administered experimental chemotherapy. After the birth of our daughters, I was a busy stay-at-home mom for about 10 years, enjoying and creating family experiences. I am very recently retired from my position as Director of Children’s and Family Ministry at my church, and now I am ready for new adventures. I like crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, I collect Fontanini nativity figures, and I am obsessed with fantasy football.
