My blog site has been silent for a long time.
When the COVID-19 pandemic commanded our attention and changed our way of living, I was not sure what to write.
Too much frivolity seemed insensitive to those who were suffering or grieving. Writing about activities for children to do with their friends was impossible during the time of social distancing.
Too much solemnity seemed heavy, and no one needed more darkness in those troubled times.
We were bombarded with advice and statistics, facts and opinions. I felt that nothing I could say would be helpful. And so I said nothing.
But as we approach a new year filled with hope, I’m ready to write about some of my ideas and experiences again, and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you.
